34th CEM CHINA Registered Exhibition Manager Course

(1) Program Background

The CEM program was founded by the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) in the U.S. in 1975, and has been widely recognized by the international exhibition industry since then. In 2002, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the U.S. side cooperated to create a brand new CEM program "CEM CHINA", which is tailored to the rapidly developing China's convention and exhibition market. CEM CHINA". The course is taught by outstanding foreign lecturers selected by the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), well-known entrepreneurs in China's convention and exhibition industry and outstanding scholars in China's convention and exhibition industry, covering all aspects of the actual work of conventions and exhibitions, and is one of the few systematic convention and exhibition education courses in the world that combines theory and practice.













(2) Course Features.

-CEM Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) is one of the professional training programs of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) established in 1975.

-The course is conducted in Macau, which means that participants do not have to travel across the ocean, and can make better use of their time outside the classroom, in addition to eliminating travel expenses.

-IAEE selects U.S. experts with many years of experience in MICE training, senior managers from China's MICE industry, and professors from renowned universities in China and abroad to form a team.

-Expanding the global MICE industry network and access to the latest MICE information.

-The CEM program focuses on practical knowledge, emphasizing direct application to everyday challenges.


(3) Target Audience.

This year's CEM program is open to professionals from Macau, Pan-Pearl River Delta (PPRD) and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GHMM) cities, as well as Portuguese-speaking countries and regions along the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), who are engaged in the MICE-related sectors and service industries.


(4) Professional Programs.

- First half: February 13-17, 2022

- Second half: September 04-08, 2023

**There will be a total of 9 training courses, including MICE Marketing Management, MICE Sales Management, Strategic Planning and Management, MICE Planning and Organization, MICE Crisis Management, MICE Information Management, MICE Operation Management, MICE Venue Selection and Management, and MICE Budget Management.


(5) Course Subsidy.

-Upon completion of the entire course and passing the examination, trainees holding Macao Resident Identity Card are eligible to apply for training fee subsidy through the course organizer, the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM).
